Author of The Real Guide to Making Millions Through Real Estate

Lisa Vander, M.Ed. is a well-known wealth developer, real estate investment advisor and national educator. As a national speaker and expert, she joined Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, and Anthony Robbins as a speaker at the Real Estate Wealth Expo in Los Angeles which attracted over 45,000 people in 2005. Vander is the exclusive real estate expert and speaker for this summer’s National Basketball Players Association investing conference to be held in June 2006.

Vander is founder of Pacific Blue Investments, a real estate investment advising company located in Solana Beach, California. The company offers accurate and proven real estate investing strategies to real estate agents, financial services professionals and investors at all levels. Through its workshops, mentoring programs, real estate analysis software, real estate sales, and personal consulting, Pacific Blue Investments specializes in educating clients about creating wealth through real estate investing as an alternative to the stock market. Vander's mission is to support her clients in building profitable real estate portfolios over time so that they are propelled into financial freedom and have the opportunity to give back through charitable giving.

Prior to her career in real estate, Vander graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from Westmont College and earned her Master's degree in Counseling & Human Services from the University of Idaho. She began her career as a counselor, assisting clients with chemical dependency and empowerment issues. For several years, she was a director of the YWCA Child Abuse Program in San Diego. Vander started buying and investing in real estate in 1989 to prepare for retirement. She purchased a variety of properties, including probate sales, HUD repos, V.A. foreclosures, and divorce sale properties.

Vander began working in residential real estate sales in 1994, and was soon recognized as one of the top agents in San Diego. Vander's clients raved that she brought more to the table than her contemporaries. Her natural ability to share her experiences and knowledge of investment real estate with others produced life-changing results for many clients. Vander’s success with this approach propelled her out of residential sales and into the market of educating, speaking and writing about the power of investment real estate. It was shortly thereafter that she founded Pacific Blue Investments.

A resident of Del Mar, California, she is a cited expert for Fox 6 News, the Los Angeles Times, Real Estate Finance Magazine and Ms. Money, among others. Vander is also a recurring guest on San Diego’s KCEO “Inside Business” radio program and hosts “Real Estate Today” on CASH 1700 AM.

Vander’s newest project is her book The Real Guide to Making Millions Through Real Estate (Entrepreneur Press, Feb. 2006) which speaks to the novice and seasoned real estate investor seeking more than ‘get rich quick schemes’ and offers a how to approach for success.
