Don began his real estate investing career part time while still a manager at a Fortune 500 company. He soon found that he could earn more investing in real estate than he could working 65 hours every week for his employer. By 1998, though still employed, Don was spending all of his time on real estate investing. In 2001 he formed his first investment company. Now, Don has five different companies – an investment firm to buy and sell real estate, a realty company to list properties, a mortgage company to finance properties, a new land development firm and, of course, a training and education company.
